WHAT HAPPENS IN A THERAPY SESSION?
Therapy sessions normally happen once a week and last for 50 minutes (1.5 hrs for Life Coaching sessions). You will have time and a safe space in which to talk to your therapist about your issues in a safe, non-judgemental environment. Talking therapies have proved to be a powerful tool in treating a variety of issues: stress, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, insecurities, phobias and bad habits. I will be working with you at your pace, being flexible and understanding of the circumstances. Every session is your session!
I’VE NEVER HAD HYPNOTHERAPY… WHAT DO I EXPECT?
Having hypnotherapy is a very relaxing experience. It involves slowing and deepening your breathing, letting yourself sit back and relax while I am talking through your script. I tailor each script individually, based on your present issue, mode of receptivity and goals for therapy. You will feel in full control through the session, and feel fully refreshed afterwards.
DO YOU RECORD SESSIONS?
I will record the hypnotherapy sessions and send them over to you in MP3 format. This will enable you to listen to my voice between the sessions in order to emphasise the messages tailored especially for you. To preserve confidentiality, I will delete your recording on my device as soon as I have sent it.
ARE THE THERAPY SESSIONS CONFIDENTIAL?
All the sessions are strictly confidential. I will only discuss your case with my supervisor (required by Code of Ethics). However, if I sense that there is a potential life risk to yourself or those around you, or any breach of criminal law (money laundering, trafficking, drug dealing), I will have to report to the appropriate authorities. In any case, I will always discuss breaking the confidentiality contract with you first.
DO YOU WORK ONLINE OR FACE TO FACE?
I am working exclusively online at the moment due to the Covid restrictions. Once the Government’s guidelines change, I will be able to offer face-to-face sessions as well. I do, however, have walking therapy sessions where I meet my clients locally in a park. This is a great chance to have a meaningful therapeutic session while strolling gently and connecting with nature.

Yes, we can arrange to talk via WhatsApp or FaceTime
DO YOU ACCEPT CASH?
Currently I only accept payments online from all the major credit cards, with the exception of walking therapy sessions which can be paid for in cash.
HOW OFTEN DO I NEED TO SEE A THERAPIST?
Once a week is a normal practice. In some circumstances, though, you can have sessions twice a week or every two weeks.

IS SMOKING CESSATION EFFICIENT?
Hypnotherapy for smoking cessation is efficient as long as you have a strong commitment to stop smoking. It is not a magic wand, but it certainly helps people to focus on ditching the habit for good.
