ABOUT ME

Originally from the former Soviet Union, I moved to England in 2000. My professional life has involved working in administration in large corporations here in the UK and abroad. However, I have always been interested in mental wellbeing and helping people grow. So, back in 2016 I embarked on a long journey to study counselling and psychotherapy. These were challenging years - balancing work, studies and family - yet it was extremely fulfilling and exciting too! I am so pleased that I can now offer my clients all my knowledge and support, and encourage them to see their potential and help them have a fulfilling life.

I am a fully qualified Integrative Psychotherapeutic Counsellor and Relationships Therapist, registered with the National Counselling Society I work in strict compliance with their ethical standards and hold full professional insurance for my practice.

I trained to become a psychotherapeutic counsellor because I wanted to help my clients overcome their difficulties in life. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing happy and contented clients. Whatever I have done in my life, my attitude to people has always been one of compassion. So, my choice to become a therapist seemed not only natural but organic. I am fully committed to being open, supportive and honest with my clients, learning and growing with each and everyone of them as I go along. It is quite simply a blessing and an honour to be able to assist people in difficult situations.

My most recent qualifications include the Professional Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling, The Diploma in Relationship Counselling, the Certificate in Hypnotherapy and Counselling Skills, the Diploma in Life Coaching.

I live in the Thames Valley near Reading with my family and two very lazy cats. I love anything outdoors – pottering around in my garden or going on long country walks. These interests made me think of combining the two things I love most: my therapy work and my favorite hobby. See my walking therapy page for the benefits of combining the therapy sessions with a walk in natural surroundings.

LET’S TALK ABOUT YOU! I do not know what may be troubling you… Do you want to understand yourself better? Or maybe you are looking for some resolution and peace of mind? You may be too anxious about the pandemic and the way our lives have changed so dramatically lately. Things not too great at work? Feeling trapped in a relationship? Or perhaps you have developed some unhelpful habits and need some motivation to get rid of them? The list goes on…  Although I don’t know your specific issue, I do know that together we can talk. And when we talk, the burden should not feel as heavy. Together we can achieve a lot. So why not give therapy a go?
